We pledge to continue a commitment to our family's roots from vineyard to table, based on Salvatore Dominic Scotto's inspiration that has traveled through the generations from Italy to Brooklyn and on to California.

1883

Salvatore Dominic Scotto’s (1st Generation) homemade red wine fills the family’s glasses in Ischia, Italy

1900's

Dominic Scotto (2nd Generation) immigrates with his family from Italy and settled in New York in a Brooklyn brownstone

1940's

Anthony Sr. (3rd Generation) and his brother Sal create Villa Armando

1963

The Scotto's purchase
their first California
vineyard and winery in the Livermore Valley

1980's

Anthony’s Son, Anthony II (4th Generation) carries on the family tradition as a winemaker, winery owner, exporter and consultant

2004

Anthony Scotto III (5th Generation) launches
Scotto Cellars

2012

J. McClelland Cellars is
founded in Napa Valley

2013

New Lodi winery opens
and Rare Blends become
the #1 volume brand

2014
